I like Sharkle's idea (Video Sharing Community) because one of its advantages is help for usual people (not professionals!) to use their video cameras better. Sharkle's visitors may compare their results (home videos) with results of another usual people. And there's good competition and improvement of "video skills" in this comparison. And people study to create their home video better & better. And that's cool.
...and maybe some Sharkle members (specially young members) will become great video producers in future. And Sharkle will become Father of new talented Spilbergs and Bessons... :)
