Recently, my sweet niece sent me a wonderful work of art that incorporated the phrase "Life is Good."
2006 was just about the hardest year I've ever had. My husband had not one, but two liver transplants (he will gladly remind you that it was TWO). We also were experiencing parenthood for the first time, with our lil Lil born in October 2005. I had a job in which I was very unhappy and unable to get out of (or so I thought) and overall -- well, I was just angry, sad and worn out.
But you know what? It's a brand new year and life is, indeed, good.
