Robbie Seays Band: Better Days
As many as 1,000 high school juniors will be on the campus of Texas A&M attending the Summer Honors Invitational Program (SHIP) during Mondays and Tuesdays in June (13 and 14, 20 and 21, 27 and 28) and July 11 and 12. The Office of Honors Programs and Academic Scholarships sponsors SHIP in its effort to actively recruit high-achieving students from Texas and across the nation. A busy two-day immersion awaits these students, including presentations by honors faculty as well as tours of the different colleges, departments and special facilities. The will also attend a master lecture in the Forum, a yell practice in the Zone, a STEP show by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and performances by The Aggie Players of the theatre program of the Department of Performance Studies in the Zone Club, the Student Recreation Center Back Yard and the University Summer Performance Series. The visiting students will have an opportunity for "Aggie Group" time with current students hosting as SHIP leaders, and an overnight stay in Lechner Honors or Neeley Hall.
