| I'm just wondering... pondering how I can block certain people without blocking others. I don't want to make my videos private, because there are so many people who aren't members of sharkle that I want to show the videos to.. they shouldn't have to join and become my friend on here to see the videos... but I don't want people I don't know coming to my videos leaving rude comments.... I suppose I'll just have to deal with it, and if it happens again, I will report the idiot. |

| well, i just found this blog..
you see, the blocking of certain people can be done by some name or address. For example, if you want to block some Sharkle users from viewing a video (such feature is not available, anyway:) you would have to type their usernames into a list. But. Imagine they enter this video without logging in. Sharkle doesn't know their name in this case.
another extreme possibility is to block people by IP addresses which is a complete paranoia and won't be done on this site. But they can connect from another computer or another ISP so they will have another IP address.
if you want to show your videos to your family or some friends, ask them all to register themselves on Sharkle and then add them all as friends - so when you upload a friends only video they will be able to see it, while others won't (except the almighty people who know the admin password, but they don't have the time).

| please don't leave any more of your rude snyde and obnoxious posts for me to view. my opinion is my opinion if i don't want to view baby videos and ask to see other video that is my right... if you have a problem with that...too bad...let's leave it at that and do not contact me ever ever ever again or i will report your sorry butt for harassment capiche!!!! |

| You do not understand the reason I post my videos here. I post them so that I can show my children to my family and friends who live far away. I make my videos public because these people are not members of sharkle, and have no other reason to come to sharkle other than to see my videos. If I make my videos private, or friends only, my family and friends who are not members here will not be able to view the videos. I really don't mind people viewing my videos if they keep the comments nice. But I really think its was bad taste for that guy to tell me I need to practice my video skills. If he didn't like how I made the video, he could've just closed it out. Why did he have to make a rude comment? I didn't ask for that. |

| Sharkle is Video Sharing Community. So if you want show your video for definite people you should set its type as Friends (for Sharkle friends only) or Private (with password). |
