Add me to the list of being "hold on copyright" on a video performance by my band. Is the song original? No it's not. But the performance is and there are numerous videos on this web-site that are "covers" or use non-original music. This is a joke. I have sent an email to their "feedback" section asking for an explanation. That was 3 days ago. So far, not a peep from the lords and masters of Sharkle.
They'd better get their act together or this site is gonna crash & burn. |

I've had the same problem with this website. I uploaded a short film called "Day at Alligator Creek" (which is here BTW:http://vimeo.com/358592). I have a "hold on copyright" on my video. I sent them 2 emails with my recipts for the royalty free music attached. This was last week and I've still heard nothing back. I've uploaded this film to 10 websites and this is the only one I've had a problem with. Two of the sites I uploaded monetize your videos and they didn't have a problem with it. One of them asked me for a copy of the receipt and after I emailed that, they were back to me within HOURS that my video was posted. This site is the worst site I've ever dealt with. I'm in the film industry and I will never recommend this site to any of my peers or friends. I don't have a problem with them not uploading my video. What I do have a problem with is after several emails I've heard nothing one way or the other. This is unacceptable. I will take my videos elsewhere. Sharkle is okay for family/amateur video, but not much else. Guys, go to Vimeo.com, Revver.com, yahoo video, Stage6, aol video, mymoviefest.com and you'll get your videos posted no problem.

| Hold on copyright reason? ALL ORIGINAL CONTENT HERE! I have had this problem with several videos & it sure smells like censorship to me. I can't get a reply from them on the issue. In addition my bush is a monkey vid is locked on friends only & won't go public. This is wrong! Don't punish me because Bush sucks! PEACE |

I just uploaded two files tonight -- both my own video and pics that I edited with Pinnacle Studio and they are also on hold. I emailed to get this removed. If this keeps up, I'll have to find somewhere else to post. If anybody gets their issues resolved, I'd love to know about it.

Why does one of my videos have uploaded videos have 'Hold on copyright reason!' which is praticially identical to the 1st one, only using a different number or players and backgrounds?
Thanks in advance! :) |
