| You can get on Genealogy.com or Ancestry.com, many other sites to search out your roots. You'll find some info free but other stuff costs. It's a long, tedious process but eventually, with perseverence, will reap rewards. I've researched mine and it can be very interesting. Make sure you have as many names & dates as possible before you begin, such as your parents & grandparents dates of birth/death, their siblings & so on. Also, the country of origin. It was inportant to me, just so I could get a wee glimpse into my family history, to learn where they came from, the struggles they may have had,and in the process I found we are related to several famous people and that was cool! Some sites even offer photos of the cemetaries one's ancestors were buried in and even the actual plot and/or tombstone. Have fun & good luck with your search! |
