member post replies Music Makers Unite - Making Your Wish Reality  vividmusic   It's a business that really touches everyone. But getting into this business is not easy. It's constantly changing and always competitive. You hear music on tv commercials, websites, and on your fave radio stations. At the beginning of a pep rally, when you walk into your favorite restaurant. Shoot - even when you get on the elevator. So, how do you get started and then survive it? Find someone you can mentor under and become their best friend. Network in the industry like crazy. If you are upbeat and people always like you, it's easy. But finding the right school, isn't. Music is something that makes everyone's heart sing. It's about having a knack for hearing a sound and putting that sound into production. It's about connecting and making connections. Those connections, I found at an amazing place. They put what I had into motion, gave me a mentor and put me right in the center of making it all happen.
